I’ve been working on a new and quite extensive Easter Infographic, which will go live tomorrow. I’m pretty stoked about it, and I wanted to give a little early warning. It will make a good “distributable” for what ends may come. And until then, a snippet teaser of the unfinished draft…
I await the unveiling – will there be cake? I like cake.

Indeed there will Arch, indeed there will. But you cannot have any, because when I flatten the graphics, it just makes a mess.

Looking very cool already! You know I’m a huge fan of info-graphics and yours are always very detailed. Looking forward to the finished product, but too bad we can’t have the cake. 😉

Howie, I first ran into you on Nate’s site, and later, on Mak’s, but you’ve never really had a whole lot to say. But then, I ran into you on Brandon’s site, and I was SO impressed at the quality of your comments! I hope this doesn’t sound insulting, but you’re a much deeper thinker than you usually show the world.

Arch, unless I’m missing some sarcasm (and we all know you love sarcasm 😉 ), then I can’t see how that is insulting – quite the opposite. Thank you very much! As someone once said “there’s a time to be deep, and a time to be shallow.” Actually I have no clue if anyone else ever said that but it sounds cool so I thought I’d write it. Besides it’s all I’ve got this early in the morning.

Yeah, Howie, you don’t miss a thing, I DO enjoy giving some things an occasional bath in sarcasm, but not this time, I mean it – the insult, in my mind, comes in the fact that it shouldn’t have taken me this long to see your depth.

Love the concept. Why not put last supper and crucifiction differences in here?

Aesthetically pleasing, informatively true, interpretatively questionable. 🙂

Ah, yes, fortunately, the lone asinine attempt to Rain on the Parade merely resulted in widdling on his shoes.

Thought of you, Matt, when I saw this on Debbie’s blog. This is a great challenge for Christians this weekend.

Charity,
Awesome – I had no idea about this when I cooked up my infographic. Someone on FB said it was the crib note version of the Barker Challenge. 🙂

How do you make these infographics?

What the..? Not even Visio–but actually PowerPoint?
No wonder you didn’t give a straight answer. Actually explaining how would be more complicated than just giving the name of the software package…

Yep, PowerPoint 2013. You can actually get a lot of template content for stuff if you look around. I have Photoshop but I don’t use it except for limited image doctoring.

I use Photoshop for nearly every for nearly everything I do – unfortunately, it does me no good on WordPress sites, that don’t allow for uploading graphics.

I would not have guessed that.

AND – I have every reason to suspect -, Adobe Photoshop, hence the need to “flatten” the image (join and condense all of the various layers) and thus, smoosh the cake.

I delved into this subject fairly extensively in my book so I’m very anxious to see the end result. Good job thus far!
